 Introduction (V4)
Soybean (Glycine max), known in Japanese as 'daizu', is one of the world's most important crops and a major source of vegetable protein and oil. To support soybean genetics, genomics, and breeding research, the National Agriculture and Food Research Organization (NARO) has analyzed and provided genomic information resources for major Japanese cultivars. Following the Enrei V3 reference genome (Yano et al., Nature Genetics, 2025), we have now established a telomere-to-telomere (T2T), gapless reference genome for 'Enrei' (Enrei V4) using ultra-long Oxford Nanopore reads. Complete chromosome assemblies were achieved directly at the contig level without Hi-C scaffolding or optical mapping. The Enrei V4 assembly resolves previously inaccessible repetitive regions and provides complete chromosome sequences for soybean research and breeding. The Daizu-net database provides access to the Enrei V4 genome sequence, gene models, functional annotations, and supporting evidence for gene predictions. Several web applications for genome exploration and comparative genomics are available below.

✿ This is a pre-publication preview version of the Daizu-net v4 DB aimed at evaluation before publication (not citable yet).

  New features:
  - Ver.4 Enrei Telomere-to-telomere gapless (T2TGF) reference genome that was achieved using ultra-long ONT reads.
  - App tools for the datasets based on Ver.4 Enrei reference genome.

#DOI will be announced on this page once it becomes available.
#This database was developed under the Cabinet Office's Strategic Innovation Promotion Program research project (SIP3).
